 I·O + D·O 를 취하는 동사

• offer

- John offered me this position

- My mother sent me an email.

- He gave us some knowledge.

**순서 바꿔서  D·O + I·O 도 가능 >> 단, 전치사(preposition) 동반**

1) 전치사 to 사용

• give
• send
• lend

• pass

• sell

▷ He handed me a spoon. = He handed a spoon to me.

▷ Ellen sent them a card = Ellen sent a card to them. 

2) 전치사 for 사용

• buy
• find
• make
• get
• save
• spare
• catch
• prepare

▷ Will you get me that cup? = Will you get that cup for me?

    *여기서 get 뜻 : '가져다주다' (간·목, 직·목 동반시)

▷ Tom bought her flowers for no reason. = Tom bought flowers for her for no reason.

3) 전치사 of 사용

• ask

▷ I asked an economist a question. = I asked a question of an economist.
